Hi all me again.
This is my Tamiya Terra Crusher, I have had it since about 2002 or so and has been in a constant state of being modded since then.these are the major things we did to it.....
The chassis is a New Era 4.7 mm thick plate all pocketed and lightened.
the ladder braces are sweet blue aluminum pieces. The Engine is an O.S .18 CVRX engine, the little bugger is a sweet running engine, gotta love O.S. Power...
I have all the aluminum bulkheads and gearboxes too. Jason locked the transmission making it forward only we also used the TNX spur and the upgraded the shaft in the trans with the TNX one also., we used the TNX gears in the diffs , they are all hard gears. Jason also came up with the idea of using TNX axles and drives at the wheels, the plastic shit just plain sucked. now the axles are stout...
Jason had the idea of modding the center drives , we had broken several of the stock drives , he used the TNX drive cups and center drives to connect the trans to the diffs, but we had a slight problem with the rear shaft, too short, good thing he had a couple spares and we found a Savage bone will fit perfectly so in it went....
I got a set of Integy Piggyback shocks , at first they leaked out of every threaded area on them, after trying several sealants I found that hydraulic thread sealant works the best. they aint leaked since I did them so must be working. they sure make the suspension work smoothly...
The wheels are RPM Stable Maxx and the Tires are Proline Mulchers, I love how they make the truck look mean as hell

Ok enough yakkin , on to some Pics....

this is a pic of mine next to a stock unmodded one

Thanks for looking, I had a blast making this truck what it is today. many thanks go out to Jason , he thought up and researched all the things we did and without his help I prolly would have given up and scrapped doing anything to this truck, Now we have 3 very BADASS Tamiya Trucks, I am almost sure there are none other like them...
