PostSubject: My Man Cave   Tue Oct 25, 2011 11:37 am

after doing some cleanup and rearranging in the Garage and a new corner desk I got at a flea mart. I moved into the shop. all my RC Cars are here and i have my workbench right here. also the computer and tv are out here. so since I lost my in the house room this is where i live most times....
got some cheap carpet remnants and put down under my desk area.... all the RC stuff fits on the shelves against the back wall of the garage. I took a bunch of foam and sealed up the big door so when it is closed it is sealed up pretty well... here is a few pix of what I have done so far. still some boxes needin unpacked but all in all pretty cozy out here....

I will post a few more pix when I am done putting away the rest of the stuff.....
Hope ya like the new digs. i am liking it out here so far.

Hey, Jam Racing1

I'm into Man Caves and there is nothing more interesting than seeing another guys Man Cave.
It's a reflection for sure of what they are into. By the looks for your Man Cave I can see you are into monster trucks, and defiantly and Ford guy. Got one myself.
Jam I am into Bobbers? These are chopped Motor Cycles. You might already know something about them or have one your self. But I enjoy and good Monster Truck.
Anyway just want to make a friend here that might be able give me a hand if I have question. I'm not new to the internet by any means. Just never spent time on any forum.
Man Caves Rock and I will show you mine here. Man Cave is a Hot thing and there is money to be made because of it's Creation

Thanks for your time reading this. I'm hoping I don't get an auto response reply.

Me and Jason been doing some work in the cave. put up a few new shelves and got rid of the floor shelves that were here before. now all my trucks and cars are on the shelves above my desk with my ToolBoxes along the back wall like i wanted to do,. looks alot cleaner and will open up the floor space quite a bit. here is a few pix of what we have got done so far.... also the shop is well lighted with 2 4ft florescent lights on each side so no more dim dark cave to work in, was well worth the work it took so far , I am really pleased with the look and space it gives me, I will be putting all my signs up on the ceiling soon and my pictures up on the wall....

Gonna put another shelf right below the last lower one all around too, that way there is plenty of shelf room so my boys aint too crowded in there, then we are gonna build a corner desk into the wall there and will be a sweet setup.....
A BIG THANKS TO JASON for all his help with this mess so far.....

Jason spent most all day here with me , we got the desk all built and the TV and Computer all set up, tomorrow we will be putting up another L shelf right above the tv and Monitor... here is what we got done so far....

started by lagging on a couple cleats on the wall, right into the studs so is strong

Tops all cut and attached to the cleats....

Jason built a box on each end and they have shelves in them too, more storage and the CPU fits good in the left side...

Right side box, will be a shelf in the middle so will be 2 more lol

Looking down the long side of the desk, is 80 inches long and 24 inches wide, the short side is right at 3ft long

Got the TV and Monitor right on the center and we stole the old keyboard mount off the other desk and used it on here, is a nice fit
now 1 more shelf right above the tv and monitor and will be all finished . Thanks again to Jason for all the hard work. I sure appreciate it Bud.....

Well today we put up the shelves above the TV and Monitor. now there is more shelf space.
We also put up a shelf above the big Matco ToolBoxes, now all my 1/10 scale stuff can sit up there all nice and safe...
The shelves above the TV and Monitor fits most all my mini cars and lil heli's too...

Above the Matco Boxes, looks sweet eh ?

Long shelf on the right side, it is 14 1/2 inches wide

Looking down the left side.... eyes at all the shelf space will ya lmao

Looking down the front of the toolboxes...

Thanks for looking , hope everyone likes it as much as I do, I am really happy how it turned out....
